No, Like new category is for MINT device only. There cannot be a single scratch on the device at all. We price like new device higher because they can sell for a higher value. Device with scratches do not sell for this higher pricing and therefore do not quality for like new condition. This include no scratches on the sides, front/back glass or at charging port area. Please clean the device fully and fully inspect very close if you are trying to sell at like new condition. Only 5% of actual items sent will be like new category. Please be sure to correctly identify your device condition before sending to avoid any repricing situation. We do not like to have to repricing any item, it makes it an uncomfortable situation for both the buyer and seller. This is a very easily avoidable situation if item is inspected closely. Just because your item was kept in a case, does not mean the item is like new automatically. Dirt and rocks and rec havoc on the phone and you may not even know. Again, Clean and inspect closely. Please make it easy for all of us and correctly categorize your item for quick payment .

This all depends on the status of the device itself at time of purchase. Some device can be purchased with credit card and then blacklisted later on. In most cases, we generally do not buy new devices or business account devices unless they are already fully paid off and are already fully unlocked. Any device on a payment plan will be either returned at buyer expense (if trying to sell as unlocked but on payment plan) OR we will buy for parts only at minor damage or damaged. We do not buy any blacklisted devices for any reason. Do not send these. Any device locked to a specific carrier if purchased new recently, we do not buy even if device has a clean ESN at time of testing. This is due to carrier usually has a waiting period of 60 days or more before unlocking to ensure the device was not stolen or purchased fraudulently.

Yes, we do buy device that have been repaired. Although the buyback pricing depends on who repaired and how the device was repaired. If repaired by Apple or Apple authorized repair shop, no buyback pricing change. If the device was repaired by the consumer or by a third party, the device buyback pricing will be modified to either fair or minor damage pricing. If the device has been repair and is report "Non Genuine Part Warning" This would be considered minor damage condition. There are multiple grade qualities of screens such as LCD (Lowest Quality), hard OLED (Better but fragile display), Soft OLED (After market but same technology that Apple uses) OEM OLED (Screen Apple uses). We do not accept any buyback at like new or good condition unless repaired with OEM parts by Apple or Apple authorized repair center. We computer test each device to ensure each internal part is the one that originally came with the device. This repricing also applies to other parts that have been changed such as battery, port, front/back camera, proximity sensor, back glass, housing, volume/power flex cable. In order to received like new/good pricing, all parts must be original or repaired by Apple/Apple authorized repair center otherwise there will be repricing to fair/minor damage as it will need to be repaired to bring back to OEM status. No. If you require additional insurance, you would need to purchase your own shipping directly from USPS. Please note that Gadget Traders will not be held liable for any damages incurred due to inadequate packaging.

That’s okay. USPS will charge us for the difference in weight if at all there is any.

We will provide you with a prepaid and trackable USPS shipping label that you can easily print out. Delivery Confirmation is included with the label, so you can verify that the item successfully arrived at our location. We will also email you when we receive your package. If you want to get all updates on your package, it is crucial that you provide us with the correct email address and check it so that you can receive our updates on the process.

Once you accept an offer and during the checkout process, you’ll be prompted to print a pre-paid USPS label. Please print out the shipping label and follow the instructions on the label. Once your package is ready to ship, please drop it off at the nearest USPS location and always obtain a receipt.

When sending in a cell phones, iPods, or most Tablets only the phone is necessary. If sending a Microsoft Surface Tablet or Game Console a charger is necessary

Once we have inspected your item(s), we typically issue the payment within 2 business days of receipt. For each payment, you will receive an e-mail from us notifying you of the payment along with the confirmation number. Please be aware that the time it takes for you to receive your payment will vary, and depend on your preferred method of getting paid. Checks will be mailed USPS 1st Class (7-10 business days) and PayPal will be payment transfers that are usually instant or within 24 hours.

We do not need your SIM card in order to inspect your item. You can remove your SIM card prior to sending us the phone. If you forget, do not worry, we will dispose of your SIM card during our inspection of your phone.

Most items have their model type or number on the inside of the phone under the battery. iPhone models can be found under the setting – general – about- model number. If you search this model number on Google you will find out the exact model of your iPhone. If you still aren’t able to figure out what item you have, contact us via email or give us a call and one of our representatives will be more than happy to assist you.

Yes. All devices are erased once they arrive at our facility. If you are unsure on how to wipe you device before mailing please contact us and we can help provide instructions for you.

No. There is no limit, you can sell as many items as you want. However, for bulk sales (10 or more items), please contact us first before creating an offer. All bulk sales are subject to final approval and may be cancelled for any reason whatsoever as deemed necessary.

Worry not, just select a condition that you feel is accurate. Once we receive your item(s), we will evaluate it and adjust the offer accordingly. Please note that the final offer price could end up being higher or lower. If it’s lower, we will email you about the adjustment and you have 5 days to accept the offer. If you do not respond within the 5 day time period, we will assume you have accepted the offer and will initiate the payment.

If you want to change your payment type, you will have to contact us via email, or phone for one of our representatives to make the changes to your order. These changes will reflect under the “Adjustment” notes on your offer page. If you have the wrong address, or any other incorrect personal information associated with your account, you cannot modify that information for an offer that has already been submitted. This is done for security reasons. You will have to contact us to modify the information for an offer that has already been submitted. Once again, you will be able to see these changes on your offer page.

We currently offer three methods of payment – Check , Venmo or PayPal. PayPal /Venmo will charge you a 3% fee. You’ll be asked to indicate your preference when you check out. Any orders for $2500, we will issue a check only. Your payment will be sent to you when we receive and inspect your item(s) which is typically within 2 business days of receiving your item(s). Checks can take 7-10 business days to arrive by mail. PayPal/Venmo is currently the fastest way to get paid with us, but they will charge you their processing fee for receiving the payment

If you do not agree with the inspection results of your phone, you can ask for another inspection to ensure the same results. If you are not satisfied we will return your device free of charge unless a device is reported to financed by the carrier or the device has a visible image burn on the LCD. If a device is found financed or you select the wrong condition knowing the device is not as described (i.e. selecting like new or good when the device is damaged), or you forget your charger on devices that required to have them included you are responsible for sending us a return label for your device.

The electronics are evaluated using a computer software for diagnosing phones. This software makes sure the model is correct and tests all functionality of the device(s). Once we have finished we manually grade the phone to be flawless, good, cracked screen only or damaged. We assess the physical condition of the item(s) to see if the category you selected matches its description. We look to see for scratches, dents, etc. We also look to see if the item(s) is real or counterfeit, as well as look to see if there was any tampering done to the item. Your item(s) is then checked for water damage. Lastly, we look to make sure that all passwords are removed so we can reset the phone and wipe out all personal information. If your evaluation was accurate, we will send you the money in the method you select. If not, we will offer you a new price, which you can accept, or ask for your item(s) back. Rest assured, at The iPhone Guy, we give you the most value for your item.

It is your responsibility to make sure that your item(s) are fully secure when you ship them. WE highly recommend contact us to add insurance to the shipping label if you have any concerns at all. If a package is received and looks to have been damaged due to mishandling, we return the package without opening it. However, if the box is secure and does not look as though anything happened during transit and the item inside was not secure, we will offer you an amount based off the condition we receive the phone in. If you wish to have an item returned, we will not pay for insurance or be liable for any damages. We can use your own label with insurance if provided by the seller.

Please feel free to mail any unwanted accessories or sim cards you no longer need. Please note, No additional offer will be made for accessories included. Any unwanted sim cards or accessories will be recycled responsibly. If you happen to mail accessories/sim card by accident, you will need to call us (541) 525-2581 or email (help@theiphoneguy.com) us right away to see if we can save and mail back. There is no guarantee but we will do everything we can. This all is depending on how far we are into process your order. The iPhone Guy will not be held liable.

The offer provided from the www.theiphoneguy.com is good for 14 days. The start date is the at the time the order is submitted. The end time is from when the item is confirmed delivered to us, not when the item ships to us such as post marked date. Item must be received by us within 14 days. Any item received at 14 day from when order was submitted will be re priced at today current pricing.
